He Chose Money Over Love

Sarah, 37, related how her father, a talented lawyer, raised her by himself following the death of her mother. Despite his enormous wealth and success, he taught Sarah the importance of hard work and humility, making sure she earned her own success.

Sarah’s father forewarned her that Bradd, a fellow student whom she married, was indolent and envious of their family’s wealth. Bradd was initially worried about her inheritance after her father passed away, but Sarah disclosed that because she was adopted, she wasn’t listed in the will. Sarah soon learned of her father’s scheme after he filed for divorce.

According to her father’s will, Bradd would receive half of the estate if he remained married to Sarah for five years. Sarah would get everything if they got divorced before then. Sarah saw that her father had outwitted Bradd when he swiftly vanished.

Sarah proved that her father’s teachings were accurate when she prospered, left her own legacy, and lived a life free from opportunism and greed.
