A poor man told his wife…

Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a poor man named Ahmed. Tired of struggling, he became frustrated with his wife, Fatima, and her constant complaints about their financial problems.

One evening, Ahmed said, “Fatima, I’m fed up. I can’t live in poverty anymore. Tomorrow, I’m leaving for Africa to find work and change our lives.” Fatima nodded quietly, knowing that when Ahmed made a decision, he wouldn’t change his mind. The next morning, he packed a small bag, kissed Fatima goodbye, and set off with hope in his heart. When Ahmed reached Africa, he…

When Ahmed reached Africa, he had only his dreams and the desire to work hard. Over the years, he took various jobs, from construction work to small businesses. Little by little, his situation improved. He saved every penny, hoping that one day he could return home and give Fatima the life she deserved.

He often sent letters to Fatima, updating her on his progress. But over time, the letters became less frequent as Ahmed got busier with work.

After many years of hard work, Ahmed finally saved enough money to return home and start a new life with Fatima. He imagined a joyful reunion, where he could surprise her with gifts and a better future.

As he approached their house, he was amazed to see it had changed. The house was freshly painted, had new windows, and even a small garden. Ahmed felt proud, thinking Fatima had worked hard to improve their home.

But when he got closer, he was shocked to see a woman standing at the door. She looked nothing like the Fatima he remembered. This woman was confident, well-dressed, and much heavier than before.

Ahmed asked, “Fatima, is that really you?”

Fatima smiled and replied, “Yes, it’s me. You look surprised, Ahmed.”

Ahmed was confused. “What happened? The house… and you’ve changed so much!”

Fatima explained, “While you were in Africa, I didn’t sit around. I started a small business with a neighbor’s help, and it grew. I invested in our home and my future. Life is better now.”

Ahmed was speechless. He had gone to Africa to save his family, but Fatima had saved herself. He soon realized that her hard work was just as impressive as his own.

Ahmed and Fatima talked about their journeys. Ahmed understood that their success was not only because of his hard work but also due to Fatima’s strength and determination. Together, they decided to use their new wealth and skills to build an even better future.

They learned that true success is not just about individual effort, but about working together as a team.
